    Pontch Warm Up Time Has Changed

    FYI Warm up time has changed for Pontchartrain Relays:

    Mark requests that swimmers arrive by 4:15 PM

    BOH's warmup is 4:45 PM

    Meet begins 5:45 PM

    DRESS CODE REMINDER - please read carefully as they are very specific:

     The following details the dress code… Common to ALL areas of the property:

    A. Denim and jeans are allowed in specific areas of the club *see denim policy below* B. No Changing of shoes or clothing in the parking lot 

    C. For gentleman, no hats permitted in the Clubhouse first floor including the Ross Grille 

    D. All hats (both men and women) are to be worn bill forward 

    E. No cargo pants or shorts allowed. Cargo is defined as loose fitting pants or shorts that feature large, generous pockets along the side of the leg that have the capability to hold bulky gear and small items.

    F. For gentleman, shirts must be tucked in at all times 

    G. Mock or Blade collars are not permitted

    H. For gentleman, bottoms must have a zipper and belt loops 

    I. Golf Fashionable hoodies are permitted from April 1- May 15th and September 1- end of the golf season *under the discretion of the Professional Staff* 

    J. Shoes must be worn in the Clubhouse and on the grounds (pool deck being the exception) 

    K. Tank Tops (also known as athletic shirts) are not permitted.

    L. For females, razor back tops must not expose bra straps and must have a collar 

    M. For females, skirts/skorts must be fingertip length long 

    N. Athletic wear and micro skirts/shorts are not permitted 

    O. Yoga pants can be worn as an under-layer if covered by an acceptable length skirt/skort 

    P. No Spandex or tube tops (defined as a shirt with no sleeves or shoulders). This includes dresses with a top bodice 

    Denim Policy: The Club adopted a denim policy effective Monday, May 26, 2014 with the following parameters: 

    A. Denim (defined as a coarse, twilled sturdy cotton cloth used for jeans) may be of any color – BUT CANNOT BE RIPPED OR TORN (must be tasteful and appropriate for a club environment). 

    B. Denim shorts or skirts must meet all other aspects of the Dress Code (they cannot be cargo shorts, micro skirts, etc.).

    C. All other aspects of the Dress Code apply, especially with respect to shirts, tops, and shoes (except as allowed for special events such as “Lions Tailgate”).

    D. Denim would be allowed every day the Club is opened E. No denim is allowed on any aspect of the golf facilities (driving range, putting and practice areas, golf courses). F. Denim is not allowed in the Ballroom, Card Room, Crystal Room or Formal Dining Room (essentially the banquet/meeting facilities). 

    G. These rules apply to all guest of functions, as well as members and guests. 

    H. Members or guests may not enter the building through the front entrance in denim.
